All Sessions Cancelled

The health, safety and well-being of our participants and our artists has been and continues to be of the most importance to us. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all future sessions at Poplar Union, artsdepot and Brookhill Children's Centre are cancelled until further notice. All participants have been informed. We do hope to be back and better than ever as soon as regular programming resumes. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this crisis. Sending positivity and solidarity to you all.

Brookhill Children's Centre New Sensory Play: CANCELLED

We're very excited to be starting some brand new Sensory Play sessions this Spring! Working with Home-Start Greenwich​ we're running inclusive sensory play for families at Brookhill Children's Centre every Friday from 28th Feb - 3rd April.

Magical Moggie R&D

June 16, 2019

This week is #ChildrensHospiceWeek (17th - 23rd June 2019) and we are very excited to announce our next project.

We will be working with two amazing children's hospices Demelza Hospice Care For Children in Kent and Little Havens Hospice in Essex, to develop our new home show Magical Moggie this July.

Magical Moggie is being developed for and with children with complex disabilities and life-limiting illnesses, and their families. The show will be performed in children's homes (living rooms, gardens, kitchens, you name it!) as well as within children's hospices.

Extremely grateful that the research and development of Magical Moggie is supported by Arts Council England Margot Florence FoundationGreenwich & Lewisham Young People's Theatre Rose Bruford College and Official South Essex College.

We are excited to be working alongside Above Bounds Theatre for 'Above and Beyond'; a brand-new children’s festival in Plymouth curated by Above Bounds Theatre with Plymouth Libraries.

NEW: Sensory Exploration Sessions

For ages 0 - crawling. Join FEEL Theatre for weekly sensory play sessions for babies. Babies love to explore with their senses (especially their mouths!) and at FEEL Theatre they believe that sensory play is amazing for brain development, as well as stimulating, and a lot of fun! Each week your baby will explore different textures, smells, taste and learn about cause and effect.

FEEL Theatre brings Sensory Circus to Poplar Union!

Blast off into space with Neo, their little alien puppet, and discover the magical wonders of planet circus!

This performance is specifically for early years and young children.

About Sensory Circus
Sensory Circus is a UV and LED glow performance combining circus and puppetry, followed by a sensory play session. A different and fun type of theatre where the young people can get involved too.

Created for children and young people with PMLD, Sensory Circus aims to help develop visual perception, tracking, concentration and focus.

Non-toxic glow sticks are provided for children to use throughout the performance and to take home at the end!

Join FEEL Theatre for weekly sessions of messy play and sensory activities at Poplar Union!


Each week you will dive into the world of arts, crafts, messy play and sensory activities, allowing the children to create, investigate and explore while encouraging the use of all the senses. FEEL Theatre believe that simply through playing, it can help to support the cognitive growth, language development, refine motor skills and much more.

*Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy and that you can move around in.

FEEL Creative Hub!

FEEL Creative Hub is an initiative set up by FEEL Theatre, working alongside Meanwhile Space CIC and Waltham Forest Council. FEEL Theatre have been allocated a pop-up space spanning from 19th March 2018 - 15th April 2018 in South Leytonstone.

FEEL Creative up is set up to explore the sensory development and mental wellbeing of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

A show for young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)


Blast off into space with Neo, our little alien puppet and discover the magical wonders of circus planet!

Join FEEL Theatre on another one of our wonderful, sensory journeys! A specialised glow - UV, circus and puppetry performance for young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, concentrating on visual perception, concentration, visual tracking and focus. A new, different and fun form of therapy where the participants can get involved too.

We provide a 30-minute glow performance with UV lights and fantastic music, followed by a 30-minute sensory play session and exploration of some glow toys with the participants and their parents/carers. These glow toys include finger lights, UV juggling scarves, juggling balls and more. We also provide glow sticks for participants to wear throughout the performance and keep to take home.

Mighty Mega Saturdays at Discover Children's Story Centre!

FEEL Theatre will be leading the Winter term of workshops at Discover Children's Story Centre in Stratford! Mighty Mega is a free club for disabled children aged 5-11 and their families.
